1. Add your go-to APPs to your task bar
-
Windows/PC: Once you open up a program, go down to the taskbar and right click the icon.
Select Pin to Taskbar and it’ll remain there once you close the program.
2. Watch out for phishing schemes!
-
You may notice more phishing attempts recently in your inbox. The three common telltale signs of a phishing email are:
-
Grammatical errors (Misplaced punctuation, misspellings, and unnecessary capitalizations)
-
An immediate, panicked sense of urgency to their request
-
Addressed to or signed as a broad subject “Sir/Madam” or “CEO"

3. Window Snapping
-
One of the greatest computer organization tips of all time is window snapping. This is the process of taking multiple tabs or windows open and having them quickly snapped to all four corners of your screen. Just drag the tab or window to its desired corner and it should automatically snap to the area.

4. Lock up when you walk away from your computer
-
Windows + L will lock your system right away, requiring a password (if you've set one) to log in again. Please remember to do this when you walk away from your computer when you are not at home!
5. Keep your computer updated
-
It’s easy to push off updates for a later time, but you should perform them as soon as possible to minimize the risk of a security breach or malware infection. Software updates often include security patches and bug fixes essential to your computer’s security and performance.
